Wear Your Wild
Taking the lead
Maybe it’s time to put it back on. Because wearing the hat means more than simply covering your head. It means taking responsibility. Making your own decisions. Setting the direction. Leading yourself.
Every day, you encounter opinions, expectations, and ideas about who you should be. What is right. What you should think. What is possible — and what is not. But your story begins when you start asking for yourself again: What do I think? What feels right to me? Where do I want to go? And who do I choose to be? Perhaps that is what freedom means: looking beyond the familiar, questioning what you have always known, thinking differently, trusting your intuition, and making choices even when others may not understand them. Not simply continuing to read the story that has already been written for you.
But writing your own.

More than an accessory
And that is precisely why a hat can be more than an accessory. It rests where your thoughts begin. Where you perceive, question, dream, and decide. Where intuition can become an idea — and an idea can become something new. Your hat can become a space of your own. A symbol of what you wish to protect — and of what you want to invite into your life: clarity. Protection. Grounding. Freedom. Connection. Transformation.
You decide what meaning your hat carries. Perhaps it reminds you to stay close to yourself when the world around you grows loud. Not to lose your own thoughts among all the voices outside. Perhaps it stands for a boundary you want to draw. For a decision that has long been waiting to be made. For the courage to think beyond the familiar. Or for a new chapter in your life.

Your hat is not here to tell you who to be. It can remind you who you choose to be.

You give it meaning
A hat can be a shelter. A personal space for your thoughts, your energy, and your intention. In spiritual traditions, the space above the head is associated with awareness, connection, and the crown chakra. A head covering can therefore also be understood as a symbolic way of protecting your inner world. Not to shut yourself away from the world.
But to remain grounded in yourself while moving through it.
This idea is woven into WILD & GOLD. A hat is shaped by more than its form. Materials are chosen with care. Symbols can carry meaning. Details can become reminders. And through your own intention, a piece of headwear can become something personal. You might choose clarity, protection, freedom, connection, courage, grounding — or something only your own words can name. Because the meaning of your hat is not defined for you.
You give it meaning.

Where WILD & GOLD began
With a hat whose story had begun long before. A cowboy hat from Las Vegas, more than thirty years old.
My grandmother’s hat.
After she passed away, it came to me. And this hat already carried a story. Las Vegas was part of my family history. My great-grandparents lived there and made a home there. I had been there as a teenager too. Still, at first the hat did not feel like mine. I removed its old feathers. Then it sat with me for months. Until one day, a clear intuition arrived:
Make it yours. Transform it.

And that is exactly what I did. I began transforming it with my own hands. With color, shapes, symbols, and details that carry meaning for me. I did not want to erase its past.
I wanted to continue its story.
Eventually, I put it on. It was still my grandmother’s hat.
But now it was mine too.
A piece of her story, connected to my own. And a hat I now take to the places where I feel free, creative, and connected.
What began with her hat became my hat.
WILD & GOLD grew from this transformation.
HOW AN IDEA BECOMES A HAT
Every WILD & GOLD hat begins with an idea. Sometimes with a symbol, sometimes with a color, a feeling, or an intention. Then the process begins. With airbrush, colors, forms, and motifs emerge layer by layer across the hat. Details and carefully chosen elements are added until an idea becomes a one-of-a-kind piece. AUREA reveals this journey — from the first thought to the moment everything comes together.
AUREA
Idea

Made by my hands.
But its story begins with you.
AND NOW YOUR STORY BEGINS
Perhaps it does not begin with an old cowboy hat from Las Vegas. Perhaps it begins with a WILD & GOLD hat you hold in your hands for the first time. With a symbol that stays with you. With a meaning only you know. With an intention you connect to it. And perhaps, one day, it will accompany you to a place you cannot yet imagine.
Because your hat does not receive its story when it is finished.
Its story begins when you put it on.
You decide where you take it.
You decide what it means to you.
You decide which story you write with it.
Because you are not here to read a story someone else has written for you.
You write it yourself.
You take the lead.
